How It Works
Agent Executes
HLOS agent performs an action (deploy, payment, API call) and generates execution artifacts.
Submit to STAAMPID
Artifact hashes are submitted to STAAMPID for independent validation and countersigning.
Independent Verify
STAAMPID independently recomputes hashes, validates claims, and creates a notarization attestation.
Log & Prove
The attestation is logged to an append-only Merkle tree. Anyone can verify inclusion and consistency.
Why Independence Matters
Trust requires separation of concerns. The entity that executes actions should never be the same entity that certifies their validity.
No Self-Attestation
HLOS cannot attest its own execution claims. STAAMPID provides independent verification that prevents any single point of trust compromise.
Transparent Audit Trail
Every notarization is logged to a public Merkle tree following RFC 6962. Consistency proofs ensure the log is append-only and tamper-evident.
Cryptographic Proof
All attestations are signed with Ed25519. RFC 8785 canonicalization ensures deterministic hashing. Signatures are publicly verifiable via JWKS.
